YouTube data notice
Updated 18 October 2026. This notice describes DreamWild's optional YouTube publishing and channel analytics features, and Competitor Intel.
Optional connection
You choose whether to connect your YouTube channel through Google's permission screen. DreamWild uses YouTube API Services for the publishing actions you request. We do not collect your Google password.
This feature requests youtube.force-ssl to upload videos, read the relevant channel and video state, and finish the metadata or visibility changes you approve. It also requests yt-analytics.readonly to show channel performance. Existing publishing connections can reconnect to add analytics permission. We do not request monetary analytics, Gmail or Google Drive permissions, or read comment text or Google contacts.
Data and purpose
We receive the connected channel's exact identifier and name, access and refresh credentials, and the upload and processing information needed for your requests. Stored authorization credentials and resumable upload-session addresses are encrypted and bound to the relevant customer and destination.
For the dates you select, channel analytics reads views, watch time, subscriber gains and losses, and aggregate video performance, including like and comment counts when supplied. Video identifiers, titles and thumbnails identify the reported content. Recent dates may not yet have reported data. Revenue is unavailable without separately authorized monetary reporting.
Analytics reports are cached in memory for up to five minutes for the connected account, channel and date range. They are not written to a persistent analytics store. Stopping use of a channel, reconnecting or requesting YouTube data removal clears the relevant cache, and an old connection's pending report cannot refill it.
We send Google the finished video you select and its approved title, description, visibility, audience and synthetic-media settings. We keep the approval, selected video version, schedule, processing status, remote video identifier and relevant delivery or error records to carry out your request, show its result and resolve interrupted uploads. We also keep your channel's name, picture, handle and public subscriber and video counts, refreshed at least every 30 days, to show your channel in DreamWild. Our configured Cloudflare infrastructure supports storage and processing for this feature.
We do not use Google API data obtained through this feature for advertising targeting, resale or general-purpose or shared model training. Access and transfers are limited to operating the requested feature, relevant support and security, and applicable legal obligations. Google's API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements, governs our use and transfer of Google API data.
Your control
Connecting a channel does not authorize posting. You can schedule a finished video individually, or create a publishing rule for new completed videos in a chosen workspace. In review mode, each exact video version, destination, metadata and schedule still needs your approval before upload. To change a reviewed draft, discard it and review a new one.
Automatic publishing requires separate, explicit activation of a rule. Its disclosure identifies the source and video version, connected destinations, title and fixed metadata, visibility, audience settings and local schedule. Your activation authorizes future matching completed videos to upload without individual review. Existing exports and retakes are excluded. The rule does not create videos or authorize generation spending. New and edited rules stay inactive until you review and activate them.
Rules show their timezone and treatment of daylight-saving changes. Individual schedules show their saved UTC time. Uploading starts no earlier than the assigned time; YouTube processing can delay visibility. Pausing a rule, stopping use of a channel, cancelling a schedule or withdrawing YouTube consent stops subsequent publishing work. An upload already sent to YouTube may still finish. An uncertain outcome retains its existing upload receipt instead of starting another upload. Resuming an upload held by a paused or edited rule requires your separate approval of its original video, metadata and destinations.
Stopping and removal
'Stop using channel' stops local publishing through that connection and starts credential cleanup. We check whether the Google authorization is still needed by verified active connections. If it is, access stays available to those connections and the stopped credentials are removed. Otherwise, Google revocation is queued. Check Channel cleanup in Manage channel for the current result. Stopping one connection does not trigger account-wide removal or pause unrelated Google connections. Work already dispatched can still finish; stopping does not delete videos already on YouTube.
To revoke access and remove stored YouTube connections and publishing history across all your workspaces, open Autopilot & Publish, choose Manage channel and use 'Revoke Google access and remove YouTube data'. This cancels future publishing work and promptly requests revocation of retained Google authorizations, including credentials from channels you stopped using. Your projects, media and videos already on YouTube remain. Revocation can affect other DreamWild connections authorized with the same Google account and Google project, including connections outside this DreamWild account.
Removal stays pending while old credential requests and cleanup are still being handled. The service applies a seven-day deadline to local Google-data deletion. If local data is removed but Google revocation cannot be confirmed, we show that uncertainty and a link to your Google permissions. Once old local work has settled, you can choose to connect again with new consent. We retain minimal local request references to prevent an old request from creating another upload.
Stopped connection data, provider metadata and credentials held for cleanup are removed within seven days of the stop or withdrawal request. Credentials are encrypted and cannot be used for publishing during cleanup. Retries do not extend the deadline. If Google revocation is still unconfirmed, local deletion still proceeds and the receipt says access could not be confirmed. Cleanup receipts contain no channel or Google identity and remain available after metadata erasure.
We check connected authorizations and channel details daily. Unrefreshed Google connection data and older provider receipt details are removed through a thirty-day freshness process. Cleanup can retain your original video inputs and approval references. Expired or partly removed provider history is labelled accordingly and is not presented as a new successful publication.
To request access, correction or deletion of other information held by DreamWild, or ask a privacy question, contact support@dreamwild.ai. These requests may also involve account records and backup copies. We do not promise immediate erasure from every provider or backup system.
You can also review or revoke DreamWild's Google permissions through your Google Account settings, including when a cleanup receipt says revocation is unconfirmed. This may affect other channels authorized through the same Google grant.

Deleting data held by DreamWild does not delete data held by YouTube. Manage or delete uploaded videos through YouTube.
Competitor Intel and public YouTube data
Competitor Intel also uses YouTube API Services, with DreamWild's own API key rather than your Google permission, to show public information about YouTube channels and videos you choose: channel names, handles, pictures and subscriber, view and video counts, and video titles, thumbnails, publish times, durations and view counts. Each channel is shown on its own; we do not combine figures across channels.
We store the channels you track for each workspace and the public details of up to 500 recent videos for each tracked channel, shared by accounts that track the same channel. We refresh this data at least weekly, delete anything not refreshed within 30 days, and remove a channel's data when no account tracks it. If you turn on upload emails, we email you the titles and links of new uploads. When you use a YouTube video as a reference for a new video, its title, channel name and link are added to your idea and sent with it to our script writing provider. Competitor Intel never subscribes, posts or changes anything on YouTube.
