Key Facts
- Account identity is not the same as channel authority.
- A connected destination does not approve every future video.
- Generation approval should identify the paid work being requested.
- Review the current permission prompt rather than relying on a remembered screen.
Why Do These Choices Get Confused?
A creator signs in with Google, sees a familiar profile picture and assumes their channel is ready for delivery. Later, someone else sees a connected channel and assumes uploads are already authorised. Each inference skips a separate decision.
DreamWild's Terms state that Google sign-in identifies the account, while connecting a YouTube channel is a separate optional permission. They also distinguish channel connection, publishing approval and recurring-payment approval.

For each prompt, state the action in plain language: identify me, connect this destination, create this output or deliver this accepted video. Be specific about the account, channel or file involved.
What Does A Four-Decision Sheet Look Like?
This author-created example follows a fictional creator preparing a stop-motion Short about arranging coloured tokens. It is a personal review aid, not a description of a mandatory screen sequence.
Scroll this table sideways to see every column.
| Decision | What To Check | Filled Example |
|---|---|---|
| Account sign-in | Which service account am I entering? | My own creator account |
| Channel connection | Which channel and permissions are involved? | Token Table; channel identity checked against the intended destination |
| Generation | Which paid scope and quote am I approving? | One revised scene with the selected settings |
| Video delivery | Which file, metadata and visibility instructions are approved? | Export T009 v03 with metadata v02 for the supported private-upload workflow |
Add a separate billing note if subscribing or changing a plan: recurring amount, interval, renewal and the offer actually accepted. Do not bury subscription consent in the generation row.
If you intended to connect a personal test channel but the sheet identifies a client channel, stop and correct the destination before proceeding.
How Should You Read A Permission Prompt?
Read the account and requested permissions together. Do not assume a familiar service name makes every request appropriate. Ask whether the stated access is necessary for the feature you intend to use.
Use only a channel you are authorised to manage. A collaborator's ability to work in Studio does not automatically establish that they can connect an external integration. YouTube's channel-permission guidance says invited users cannot use YouTube APIs through those delegated permissions.

If the person handling edits cannot perform a connection step, ask the responsible owner to review it. Sharing account credentials is not a sound way to solve the mismatch.

What Does Approving Generation Cover?
Inspect the requested work and the quote before starting. A useful approval identifies the scene or output, selected settings, included attempt scope and maximum charge shown.
For paid generation, the Terms require an approved quote for the selected scope. An additional attempt or changed scope can require a separate quote. A channel connection does not authorise unrelated paid generation.

For the fictional token sequence, approving one revised ending does not imply permission to regenerate the whole video. Keep that distinction clear when someone else helps operate the project.
What Does Approving Upload Cover?
Review the exact completed video, channel, title, description, audience and disclosure choices, requested visibility and timing. The final review should describe the action that will actually occur.
These steps describe review mode. You can instead explicitly enable an automatic publishing rule for a chosen channel, completed-video selection, metadata and schedule. Creating a rule leaves it inactive; connecting a channel is not that opt-in. Once activated, matching completed videos can upload without individual review, subject to the same private-upload restriction.
DreamWild currently provides private uploads only pending audit approval. A public or unlisted selection does not override that restriction, and those outcomes are not currently promised through its integration.

What Changes When You Disconnect?
Read the control's scope. DreamWild's Terms say disconnecting stops future work within its scope, but a request already sent may still finish. Disconnecting does not delete an uploaded YouTube video or cancel a paid subscription; those are separate actions.

At the end of a project, decide which relationship you intend to end: future channel delivery, a subscription, account access or an existing upload's visibility. Choose the matching control and check the result instead of expecting one button to perform all four.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Signing In Approve A Video?
No. Treat identity, connection, generation and delivery as separate choices with their own scope.
What Should I Do If The Wrong Channel Appears?
Stop before approving the connection or upload and confirm the intended channel identity with the responsible owner.
Can A Collaborator Use My Login To Finish A Connection?
Use an authorised owner review or a supported delegation workflow instead of sharing account credentials.
What Makes An Approval Specific Enough?
It specifies the intended action, destination or output, relevant settings and any paid scope rather than giving open-ended permission.
