Leave Room For Mid-Roll Ads.
YouTube allows mid-roll ads on monetised videos that are at least 8 minutes long. The planned 10-minute format leaves room for those placements when your channel is eligible. Actual ad delivery is YouTube's decision.
Keep Shorts In The Mix.
A longer story and a quick Short serve different viewing moments. Choose the format that suits the idea, rather than forcing every video to be the same length.
